Review and Shooting: Contax RTS with Contax Real Time Winder

Описание к видео Review and Shooting: Contax RTS with Contax Real Time Winder

These video’s show my process of finding the perfect set of analog cameras and lenses. The series consist of trying a wide variety of film cameras, lenses and film. Although using the same film for al videos would be more consistent I change the film every few videos

In this video I review, show and shoot a Contax RTS with Contax Real Time Winder and 3 lenses. The Carl Zeiss 25mm F2.8, the Carl Zeiss 50 F1.4 and a Carl Zeiss 200mm3.5. The RTS is a professional Singel Lens Reflex from 1973 and this one is in pretty good condition. I like the looks of the camera very much. It’s big and hefty :-( but it couples with Yashica-Contax mount Carl Zeiss lenses :-)

As usual, brief review of the body and winder and shoot a roll of film. I ended up in a local Hackerspace, https://www.hack42.nl and had the best afternoon this month. Awesome guys, awesome stuff and awesome event (Synth Martin, november 11, very funny word play) output of the collaboration of the 20 'nerds' :-)   / lang   and   / neen01

I'm also thinking about shooting the same test photos every camera. (didn’t work out this roll:-() A fixed set of images so the comparison gets more clear on the different cameras. Work in progress. bare with me while I'm still looking for the right framework for this series.

The images are getting more and more what I look for. Apart from some white balance correcting I didn’t change the contrast, colors, tint or anything else

Basically all the cameras in the series are mine but I have a couple of wishlist camera’s that I have to rent or loan. Medium format and 4x5 I rent at Analoog Studio Arnhem
