Detroit Tigers News: The Detroit Tigers struggled against the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park, suffering a 4-0 shutout loss. Despite a solid outing from Tarik Skubal, who held the Astros scoreless through five innings, the Tigers' defense collapsed in the sixth. Skubal ultimately gave up four runs, including a two-run homer to Mauricio Dubón. Hunter Brown dominated the Tigers' offense, pitching seven scoreless innings while allowing just five hits and striking out nine. The Tigers' offense couldn't find their rhythm, with Colt Keith being a lone bright spot, going 2-for-3. The Detroit Tigers will need to quickly regroup as they continue their road trip.
