How are you doing today? I hope that all of you are healthy as always.

Today Diamond Painting is #83, Smiley Snail. It's a ⬛ diamond and measure 30x30cm. It is so colorful. Confetti 😃. I 💜it. The Snail is so cute!!

In this video, you can see how I prepared the canvas before I proceed the DP.

Briefly..
I will flatten the canvas. Usually, I will use heavy object like book on top of the face-down canvas. Make sure that the protective plastic cover is still attached to the adhesive surface. Sometimes, I will iron(low heat setting) the canvas (face down) and make sure to keep the plastic cover. I usually put handkerchief or face towel over the canvas and iron. Do not iron directly to the canvas😅 no, no, no.. very dangerous..!!.. The heavy object method is good enough anyway..😬.Do this one day before you start your DP.

Then, I gently pulled off the protective cover off and use the release paper that I have cut to sections and placed them on the adhesive surface. This is to prevent dirt, dust, pet hair and even to prevent your arms from sticking while working.

Usually, I will not cut off the plastic on the outer edges ( the sticky borders). You can use washi tape or painter's tape if you do cut the outer edges.

That is how I normally do😀 .
