The power of a photograph rekindles an elderly couple’s tender memory of their first encounter in the 1950’s.

ifolor, Switzerland’s leading provider of personalised photo books, is building on the success of its recent Vikings TV spot by releasing a new Christmas commercial.

Created by Walker Zurich, the film uses flashbacks to tell the moving story of an elderly lady who visits her dementia suffering husband in a nursing home. Her touching gift of a photo book sparks a moment of lucidity in her partner, who recalls the precious memory of the time they first met and danced together at a New Year’s Eve party. Reliving their greatest moment, the couple dance among the falling autumn leaves.

Film director, Nigel Cole (Made in Dagenham, Calendar Girls) assembled a strong cast including veteran actress, Helen Ryan (The Elephant Man).
