People have gotten used to the idea of ordering food online, more frequently. More and more hotels are offering their menu and services online.

Chinese, Indian, Fast food, Tacos, Cakes… whatever your calling is, find that specific food category that you are interested in.

Don’t go for what is popular but find what unique food you can offer.

So that when you launch in the market, people find your food new and interesting.

Research well and find out what are the food types that are in demand in your area.

Which are the hotels that are doing well, which are the ones that aren’t doing well.

So you can learn from their mistakes. Maybe the specialty food you are planning to make is already there.

Who are you trying to sell to? This is very important to find out. Many people think that they can sell to anyone.

Well, you can - just that you don’t have clarity on who is your ideal audience.

If you have clarity on who your ideal target audience is, all your efforts can be focused on them.

When you’re starting an online food business, you need to know who you’re selling to so that you can just focus on them.

Depending on which state you’re in, you’d need different kinds of licenses to operate your online food business.

Where is your servicing area, and how can you deliver food once orders are taken online.

There are different solutions to this.

One if you can handle the deliveries yourself, if you have the right staff.
