I won't really count this as part of the MDLLG but have it included either way as it are forced battles, or at least a number of them.

Anyway, I cut the sample fights together, guess this can be a bit of a review. After a few protects, none of the fights posed a threat. All healing has been done be using Blessed Staff, which casts Heal, so actually nothing happened but a few zeny gained.

Anyway, lets talk about the Samples.

Sample 1 was three Nues. They died in 2 hits (1 crit), so that battle was over fast.

Sample 2, two Huge Slugs. Using a fire attack to destroy their coating wasn't even needed but I had it done either way. Again no trouble.

Sample 3, two Mikbas. About the only fight which took a while as both of them tend to not only Lucky Strike, but also counter with it. A lot of healing even after protecting was needed.

Sample 4, a Dodo. Ivory Charms protect against Evil Eye and else this thing had nothing to talk about.

Sample 5, Angler. The fish wasn't even a problem during normal gameplay.

Sample 6, two Ammonites. Basically the same as on the Black Ship, Ryus Royal Sword got them down super fast due to Thunder based attack.

Sample 7, Manmo. He lost Feign Swing and learned Double Blow, but this still does not make him a real enemy.

Sample 8, five Rockys. They changed Jump for Air Raid but that still does not make them a problem. Died in 2 hits each.

Sample 9, a Gaist. He is the same as Gaist fought by Ryu alone, so really easy. He even got Sanctuary, so if I had not learned it during the real Gaist fight, this would have been the other chance.

Samples 10 to 12, elemental Stallions. They usually do their elemental spells and rarely attack, so Ivory Charms protect. Utmost Attack actually seems to be a three-element attack, which is why Ryu absorbs it (Dragon Helm absorbs Flame, Ivory Charms protect against everything else). So, without taking any damage, just hackhing away for a while and they were also done.

A interesting thing to note is that I also learned Mind Sword and Berserk from Arch Mage and Berserker. I can probably kill the Berserker if I get him totally out of AP so he cannot use his Berserk skill when at 25% HP, but I still lack a strategy for Arch Mage. Anyway, next up will be Myria, so I have some pretty lady shown.. Adult Nina never made a entrance, did she?
