A crew from the Smithsonian digitization department, 3D scanned the burials of four prominent English settlers from the Jamestown colony in Virginia, which was the first successful English settlement in the Americas. This marks the first time that Smithsonian X 3D had scanned skeletal remains in-situ. The 3D model in its entirety is viewable at the Smithsonian X 3D website listed below.
