HI! welcome to my LP of Shadowgun for android!

shadowgun is an over the shoulder 3rd person shooter set in the future. you are some sort of soldier or something tasked with stopping some evil scientist or whatever. basically you're good they're bad.
shadowgun is a gears of war clone without shame, but it looks nice and plays nice, and that's really all you can ask of a video game at the end of the day. so sit back, relax, and watch me gun my way through hundreds of mutants, robots, and everything in between!

i'm playing this entire game on my Nvidia Shield. the shield is a handheld gaming thingy that runs android. it uses nvidia's tegra 4 chipset, and has a big controller that looks sort of like a 360 gamepad. it's also got a REALLY BIG battery that lets it play for hours on end. at the end of this recording session(roughly 2 and a half hours if i did my math right), i ended up at 59% battery life left.
i don't own a vita, so i can't directly compare the two, but i can honestly say that my shield has been getting a lot more play time than my 3ds since i bought it, so take that as you will in terms of recommendation.

the video was recorded with my new hauppauge hd pvr 2: gaming edition, using the hdmi output on my shield. it's my first attempt at recording anything with the hauppauge, so there are some audio problems that i need to work out. i'll be doing a lot of tests in the future, and we all know practice makes perfect, so we'll see how things go!
the last few seconds of each video were cut off, and i'm not sure why, so be aware of that.

ignoring the technical stuff, and the praise i'm passing out, i hope you guys enjoy the series. it's my first attempt at HD uploads, and i think it came out decently. if you know anything about android, and have any game suggestions for the future, feel free to post them in the comments. i'd be happy to pick up more games, and my setup will make it easy to put out content!
