The Northern Colorado Indian Motorcycle Riders Group went on a three-day trip to Deadwood, South Dakota. The journey started on Highway 85, with a largely uneventful ride through the plains of Wyoming until reaching Newcastle.

From Newcastle, the scenery dramatically changed, transitioning from flat, open plains to pine forests and winding roads of the Black Hills. The 55-mile ride between Newcastle and Deadwood was a highlight, with the road becoming more curvy and the air cooler due to the higher altitude.

As we rode deeper into the Black Hills, the scenery became more immersive, with forests, clear creeks, and the fresh scent of pine filling the air. The weather was ideal for riding, with comfortable temperatures and clear skies. We enjoyed the lack of traffic and the twisties, which allowed us to open up our throttles and enjoy the ride a bit more.

Upon arriving in Deadwood, we felt transported to a bygone era, with images of the Old West and its famous figures.
