Pablo and Cheryl (Rodgers) were commended to the Lord's work in March 2009. Between 2009 and 2013, they served in the Chilean Patagonia, and between 2013 and 2016, in Rosario, in the central zone of Chile. In 2016 Pablo started his Masters degree in Biblical Exegesis at Wheaton College, Illinois, USA. After finishing his Masters, Pablo returned to Chile, where he and his family help with the Lord's work in San Felipe. Pablo is now in the second year of his Ph.D. program in Old Testament Studies with Trinity College Bristol-University of Aberdeen.

One of the challenges for Chilean believers (and all believers) is to grow mature in the Lord. That growth will come only as a result of solid, expositional Bible teaching. Bible exposition requires essentials tools. Today, many local churches need to have appropriately trained believers so they can provide substantial spiritual food that will result in consistent and constant spiritual growth. We enjoyed Pablo's message on the relevance of Biblical Studies to Christian life.
