56 ranger Hyan soloed a Dark Assassin in Feerrott on 2/27/24. I decided to try this mob while parking Hyan near Rathe Mountains for J-boots; the assassin was the first high-level named mob that Hyan attempted. Hyan received Swiftwind not long ago and it helped tremendously. The Dark Assassin is magic resistant, but snareable. Do not bother with root because it breaks often and it will just drain your mana. Bow kiting in Feerrott is difficult due to the hills and trees getting in the way. This mob also spawns in Everfrost, which would probably be an easier zone to kill him in. Project 1999 classic EverQuest, Blue server.
