From its festive green colour to the colourful mini m&m’s lights, these no bake Rice Krispie Christmas trees will be a treat for kids and adults! Enjoy and happy baking!🎄✨

Ingredients:
1/4 cup unsalted butter
5 cups mini marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
green food colouring
1/2 cup green chocolate candy melts
mini m&m’s

Directions:
melt butter on stovetop on low heat
add in marshmallows and mix until fully melted
turn off the heat and add in as much or as little green food colouring as you like; more = deeper colour
add in Rice Krispies cereal and mix until it comes together and is fully coated in ooey gooey marshmallows
spread and press into a lightly greased baking dish and let it cool before cutting
use a Christmas tree cookie cutter to cut out your trees
carefully melt green chocolate candy melts over a double boiler
transfer melted chocolate into a small piping bag and cut off the tip of the bag; Ziploc bag works too
decorate trees with chocolate as tinsel and mini m&m’s as lights
this recipe makes about 15 Christmas trees
