"So, we have seen in the last days that the figures have slightly increased so we were at about 2,000 to 2,200 arrivals per day. In the last days we've seen a little bit more so we have at the moment at around 3,000 arrivals per day. The site here will be also be planned in order to accommodate a large number of refugees in order to be able to process them here at the registration site. So we are working with the government in order to do that and we are planning for those (higher) figures."

STORYLINE
The number of migrants crossing from Greece into Macedonia has risen slightly, a United Nations refugee agency official said on Thursday.
Alexandra Krause, UNHCR coordinator in Macedonia, said about 3,000 migrants were crossing into the country on a daily basis.
Krause said the UN agency was planning a camp where the migrants would be sheltered and registered.
Some tents have already been put up to shelter the most vulnerable migrants.
The migrants hope to cross into Hungary - the first country in the EU's Schengen zone from where the migrants seek to reach other countries, mostly Germany and Sweden.
