Did you know it takes 40 GALLONS OF TREE SAP to make ONE GALLON of maple syrup???

Today on Susie’s cooking show, Susie ponders how we get the maple syrup that she’s putting on her pancakes. We know it comes from maple trees, but how does that sap get from the trees, down the mountain, and on to our pancakes?

Let’s take a journey to Poultney, Vermont where Susie’s friend, Lexi, explains how she makes maple syrup at Green’s Sugar House.
