Nathaniel Richards, also known as Kang, has multiple incarnations and identities each with their own history. This article will focus on the history of Nathaniel Richards during his time as Kang. Other identities and incarnations of Nathaniel Richards include Iron Lad, Kid Immortus, the Scarlet Centurion, Rama-Tut, and Immortus. Nathaniel Richards was born in the 30th century of Earth-6311, a reality where humanity never went through the dark ages.

Iron Lad is a younger version of Nathaniel Richards, who is saved by his future self from an attack that would have turned him into a villain. Hoping to inspire him, Kang takes Nate through time to witness his battles and victories, but it only convinces Nate to avoid his future. He steals Kang's armor and time-travel technology to return to his own time and become the hero, Iron Lad, who would go on to form the Young Avengers.

Rama-Tut is the first variant of Kang introduced in Marvel Comics, who ruled over Ancient Egypt after traveling back in time with Doctor Doom's technology. He plans to make the mutant En Sabah Nur, also known as Apocalypse, his heir and has a conflicted relationship with the Egyptian moon god, Khonshu.

Immortus is a variant of Kang who has already been seen in the MCU as the inspiration for He Who Remains in Loki. He is given immortality by the Time Keepers to preserve timelines instead of conquer them and rules over the other-dimensional realm of Limbo.

The Scarlet Centurion is a powerful villain who wants to use Avengers as pawns to conquer reality by turning them against other enhanced individuals and pitting them against themselves from another universe. He shares an interesting connection with Ant-Man, specifically Henry Pym who defeated him using his size-changing abilities.

In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Super Hero partners Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and The Wasp. Together, with Hope's parents Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne, and Scott's daughter Cassie Lang, the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is scheduled to be released in the United States on February 17, 2023, as the first film of Phase Five of the MCU.
