Hurricane Helene Post-Storm Drive: West Ashley, James Island and Folly Beach

In this video, I take you down SC Highway 61 through West Ashley to Charleston, James Island, and quickly down Center Street at Folly Beach. Recorded in September 2024, just after Hurricane Helene passed through. Compared to other locations in SC and of course other states, Charleston and the surrounding areas didn’t suffer much damage from the storm. Personally, I lost power on Friday, September 27, at 5:50 AM, and it wasn’t restored until 5 PM the next day. Some others around the Lowcountry didn't get their power back until late Sunday. Most of the damage around here was limited to power lines and trees down. Some that still haven't been fixed.
