The Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) celebrated their 50th anniversary in style at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford. The Flight's original aircraft, Hurricane IIc LF363 and Spitfire PR XIX'x PM631, PS915 and PS853 (this aircraft now belongs to Rolls Royce) flew a formation sequence before Battle of Britain veteran Spitfire IIa P7350 displayed with a Typhoon from RAF Coningsby.
Dakota ZA947 dropped the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team, then Lancaster BI PA474 led all the fighters (Hurricane IIc PZ865, Spitfire Vb AB910 & Mk IX MK356 had also joined up) before the signature three ship display closed proceedings.
