Описание к видео Comparing Shona and Luhya Words

‪@Samwel732‬ Shona or chiShona is a Bantu language spoken by the Shona people of Zimbabwe. Shona comprises of Zezuru, Korekore and Karanga dialects.
Luhya or Olu-luhya is spoken by Aβaluhya of Western Kenya and Eastern Uganda. Luhya comprises of at least 18 dialects which include Lusamia, Luχayo, Lumarachi, Luβukusu, Lukabras, Luidaχo, Lutsotso, Luwanga, Lunyore among others.
chiShona seems to have more resemblance to Gikuyu in Kenya than Luhya but still there are a number of cognates in both languages which I will look at in this video.
