SONIC.EXE - Hill Act 1.vgm as it should have been from the beginning, written with an actual SEGA Mega Drive tracker, emulating YM2612. It should also be suitable for Mega Drive homebrew ROMs. If you want to make your own rendition of it, you can extract the instruments with VGM2TFI, VGM2PRE or VGMJUICE. (.dmp DefleMask preset format is recommended for preserving FMS and AMS settings.)

==**NOTE FOR HOMEBREWERS:**==
If you intend to use this for a homebrew SONIC.EXE or a Sonic The Hedgehog ROM hack or whatever project not necessarily related to SONIC.EXE that runs on a Mega Drive and/or uses the same YM2612 instance as the VGM, let me know which channel/s you will use for the sound effects so I rearrange them properly in the VGM to avoid cutting off relevant melodies.
SN76489 a.k.a. Sega PSG is completely free for the time being, I don't think I'll add any complementary square waves or anything of the sort.

To people asking if you can remix this, yes you can, go ahead. Just give me credit.
