An Italian restaurant owner says his number one “bad dining etiquette” is people who order their food in a mock Italian accent. James Chiavarini, who runs Famiglia Portico in Kensington, shamed his customers on social media, saying: “Good luck trying that in your local Chinese.” But is it offensive to mimic other accents, or is it just a bit of harmless fun?
