Nipah Virus Claims 2 More Lives In Kerala's Kozhikode; Death Toll Rises To 15

The Nipah virus claimed two more lives on Wednesday taking the death toll to 15. Both the cases have been reported from Kerala's Kozhikode. The number of confirmed Nipah virus cases has increased to 17 with the National Institute of Virology, Pune. The deadly virus in India is believed to have started from Kozhikode, where dead bats were found in an unused well inside a home.
