I just got back from an incredible visit to Fo Guang Shan Monastery in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. This place exceeded my expectations. I wandered around the beautiful monastery, chatted with some monks, and got a real taste of Buddhist traditions. Oh, and I met Sue! Everyone needs a Sue in their life.

A bit about Fo Guang Shan Monastery: it's a huge Buddhist complex known for its stunning architecture and peaceful vibes. It's not just a religious site but also a cultural and educational hub with beautiful gardens and of course, the impressive Great Buddha statue. Whether you're into Buddhism or just looking for a serene spot, this place is a must-visit.
