Our First Tent Camping Experience…. ON AN ISLAND! | 36 Hours to Explore + Hike Santa Cruz Island

Goodbye open road… hello OCEAN! For our third national park of the season, we left the RV behind and hopped on a boat to visit Channel Islands National Park.

We tackled two hikes while we were there, set up our tent all by ourselves, and resisted smuggling an adorable but equally as cute island fox into our backpacks.

Even without cell service or any modern amenities, we already dreaming about when we can go back!
