The interest rate increases haven’t slowed one bit in WA. We are now at the lowest level of available homes for sale EVER. As we go to print in the whole of Perth there are only 2,697 homes for sale (excluding land and units) as you can see there was a stage in 2016 and 2020 when we had over 10,000 homes on the market.

To make it clearer, if no one else put their house on the market for the next 4 weeks we would have no houses to sell.

For Perth property investors our real estate market predictions are much the same as May due to rents continuing to go through the roof. It’s driven by a big shortage of houses in the Perth housing market (estimates are that we are short around 25,000 homes).
