Until Dawn Matt Saves Himself with Flare Gun & Until Dawn - Emily Uses Flare Gun on Wendigo Avoids Bite. 2024 Remake version PC.

To use it as Matt, you need to disagree with Emily, give the flare gun to Matt, then try to save Emily twice instead of choosing "Jump to Safety" option. Wendigo Hannah will attack you and you'll have option to save/defend yourself. Which leads to a different dialogue with Jessica.
To use it as Emily, just keep and stow the flare gun. In chapter 8, don't fail any qte during the chase then use the flare gun to shoot wendigo Hannah to avoid bite. Which leads to no argument in the basement scene.
