The CONTROVERSIAL Origins of Bayon Temple, Angkor Thom, Cambodia | Ancient Architects

Описание к видео The CONTROVERSIAL Origins of Bayon Temple, Angkor Thom, Cambodia | Ancient Architects

Often falling in the shadow of the fabulous Angkor Wat, the Bayon temple of the neighbouring Angkor Thom, Cambodia is a breathtaking, richly-decorated Khmer Buddhist Temple built in the late 12th or early 13th century AD.

It was the state temple of the Mahayana Buddhist king Jayavarman VII, situated in the centre of his capital Angkor Thom. Now, there is controversy about the origins of this temple, recently discussed by Praveen Mohan on his very successful channel. Watch his video here:    • 𝐖𝐇𝐘 𝐍𝐎 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐒 𝐀 𝐃𝐎𝐂𝐔𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 ...

He calls it the forbidden documentary and gives his reason why no documentaries exist on this specific Cambodian Temple, even though there are dozens on the subject on YouTube.

He states that the true history of Bayon is that this was originally a Hindu Temple, transformed into a Buddhist, a true history that is denied by authorities.

Is this correct? Is there a conspiracy? Watch this video to learn more about the true origins and the ancient architecture of Bayon Temple and Angkor Thom in Cambodia.
