I love writing songs from Scripture itself. And I love pondering, wondering and being astonished again and again by God’s attributes, his character, and his nature. A favorite truth from Micah 7:18-19 is that our God delights in showing mercy. It actually brings him joy and makes him happy to do so! (What a difference from being begrudgingly forgiven.) And then, he hurls our iniquities into the sea! With great force He throws them away from us! Who is like our God?!
How I need His mercy and grace today! I’m so grateful for a God who delights to show me mercy; One who hurls my sins in to the sea! Please join with us in the wonder and the worship as you hear this song!

Micah 7:18-19
18 Who is a God like you,
who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
of the remnant of his inheritance?
You do not stay angry forever
but delight to show mercy.
19 You will again have compassion on us;
you will tread our sins underfoot
and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.

Ex.15:11“Who is like you among the gods, O Lord— glorious in holiness, awesome in splendor, performing great wonders?"

1Kings 8:23
and he prayed, “O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in all of heaven above or on the earth below. You keep your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before you in wholehearted devotion.

Ps. 89:6
For who in all of heaven can compare with the Lord? What mightiest angel is anything like the Lord?
