Part of Costa’s Untangled collection, Sunglass Rob and Costa ambassador Ryan present the Pescador frame. Costa teamed up with a group called Bureo to help combat the waste in our ocean and create an amazing solution. Check out the links below to learn more about the Untangled story.

The Costa Pescador frame is 100% constructed with recycled fishing nets. Fishing nets are being collected out of the ocean and broken down into small black pellets. These pellets can be used for injection molding purposes and in return we have the Pescador frame.

Instead of the usual hydrolite rubberized material, Costa used a material called Plusfoam. Plusfoam performs the same as hydrolite providing a comfortable fit for all day use. However, Plusfoam can be recycled and repurposed at the end of its life, unlike hydrolite.
