Why $500 and $1000 bills aren't made anymore but $2 bills are

Maybe you're aware that 2 dollar bills are still being made, but hopefully you know that $500 bills and $1000 bills are NOT. And the federal reserve has no plans to print any of this currency in the future. Do you know why?
