Dogfighting is a brutal form of organized animal cruelty where dogs are bred, conditioned, and forced to fight for entertainment and profit.
These dogs are often kept chained or confined, isolated and deliberately provoked to increase aggression. Their “training” includes extreme physical conditioning, forced exhaustion, and the use of terrified animals as bait. Many are injected with steroids to enhance performance. Some handlers even file their dogs’ teeth, cut off their ears to reduce vulnerability in fights, or tamper with their food in harmful ways.
Dogfighting causes severe physical injuries, deep psychological trauma, and often death. It also fuels a wider culture of violence that affects entire communities.
If you suspect that something like this is happening in your area, do not stay silent. Report it to the proper authorities or local animal protection organizations.
