To avoid having difficulty with the fuel line, simply thread the hard line onto the pump and fuel rails first. Then tighten down the pump to the cylinder head.

Torque Specs:
HPFP to Cylinder Head: 12Nm
HPFP Hardlines: 33Nm

BM3 Stage 1 93oct, 3rd to 4th gear pull. Pressure is controlled pretty well. Ignore the knock, my car had been sitting for several weeks (crappy weather plus newborn daughter) so the gas was probably going bad.

High Pressure Fuel Pump Replacement for Gen 1 B58 vehicles. In this video, I upgrade to the pump used in a B58 Gen 2 "TU" Engine.

My pump was from an X2 *18i, not 16i. I tried to put a correction in the video but the timing got messed up when i uploaded.
