Maypops (Passiflora incarnata) are a type of passionfruit! They’re native to North America and are known as “wild passionfruit.” While they’re smaller and less common than the tropical passionfruit (Passiflora edulis), they share a similar tart, tropical flavor. Maypops are the fruit of the native passionflower vine and can be grown in cooler climates.
