Crochet Teddy Bear Tutorial - Head Rounds 1-4

You will need:
cream 100% cotton yarn size 4 medium, about 100g
small amount of pink 100% cotton yarn for heart
6mm safety eyes and safety nose
ribbon
2.5mm crochet hook
fiberfil stuffing
yarn needle
scissors

Finished project measures approximately:
8" head to toe by 4" wide

Note when doing increases (inc):
the first stitch should be done in the front loop only,
then the second stitch should be done with the whole stitch.

with cream yarn and 2.5mm crochet hook:
Round 1:
make magic circle, ch1, 6sc inside circle (6 sts)

Round 2:
inc x 6 (12 sts)

Round 3:
*sc, inc *, repeat ** around (18 sts)

Round 4:
*2sc, inc*, repeat ** around (24 sts)
