The Relic was revealed as the first project of South Korean studio Project Cloud Games in 2021 under the codename "Project Relic," drawing heavy inspiration from the Dark Souls franchise.

Players will venture on a journey to save the world shrouded in darkness as the last guardian. Become stronger with various skills and settings to explore the collapsed world while an intriguing story fuels the journey. Solve the riddle of Arsiltus, gather the pieces of the great relic, and lead the world back to prosperity.

The Relic: The First Guardian is launching in early 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
