Path of Repentance: Final Fantasy X Piano Collections

Yay, new recording, after several months of pure slacking.

Path or Repentance
Via Purifico
Purgatory Road

This piece goes by many names...Path of Repentance is the official name for the Piano Collections album, and Via Purifico I think is the OST one, but anyway, the location this track is played is in the Via Purifico.
Purgatory Road...dunno who thought of this one.

I hope you all enjoy this one very much. Learning this one was indeed easy, but coming up with this recording as a final product, I really wanted to spend two more weeks of playing this before actually recording it.

Be warned, that the tempo I chose is a lot slower than indicated on the sheets, and of course then, a lot slower than all other Path of Repentance recordings so far here on YouTube. Some may think there's quite a lot of Rubato too...

Anyway, here's why:
does anyone else also like the OST tempo a lot more??
I mean, the OST version, actually sounds like a Path of "Repentance".
Playing that part of the game in the Via Purifico, wow, the theme, everything about it, the tone, the sentimental feeling, suited that part of the game so well. I just feel that playing this Piano Collections version, a lot faster than the OST tempo, the piece gives off more of a sophisticated feeling, instead of reminiscent or a reflective one.

oh ya, adjust the volume so that the beginning sounds kind of soft...lol
seriously, volume contrast is huge when I played it. And I'm a lot better with controlling the volume now, but seems the camera just doesnt quite pick it up :S
