June 15, 2004 - Game 5 of the 2004 NBA Finals served as one big coronation. With the outcome of the 2004 Finals rarely in doubt following the game's first six minutes, Detroit Pistons center Ben Wallace kick started the party by picking Gary Payton's pocket and coasting in an ode to an airborne Statue of Liberty. From there, the Pistons slowly asserted their will, peaking with a 20-6 third quarter onslaught punctuated with an ascendant Ben Wallace tip dunk over a ground-bound Bryon Russell.

The Pistons 100-87 victory delivered the team's third NBA championship in franchise history.
