Nepenthes jamban: The Toilet Pitcher Plant

Nepenthes jamban is native to Sumatra, where it’s found growing between 1800-2100 meters above sea level in  the Barisan Mountains. It’s name comes from The Indonesian word “toilet”. Jamban enjoys highland conditions and benefits from a 15-20F temp drop at night. 70-80% humidity levels and bright indirect light will help produce pitchers. An easy grower for in a cooled indoor setup or greenhouse!
