Principle of PP/PE Film Dewatering and Pelletizing
1.Mechanical dewatering stage‌
Wet film scraps are fed into a screw extruder, where rotating screws apply high pressure to physically squeeze out surface moisture through a perforated screen. The compression force achieves moisture content reduction to ‌less than 10%‌ before melting

2.Melting and pelletizing stage‌
Dehydrated flakes are conveyed to heated barrel zones (typically ‌150–230°C‌), undergoing plastication through shear heat and external heating.
Molten polymer is homogenized by twin screws, then extruded through a die plate to form continuous strands.
Strands are cooled in a water bath and cut into ‌uniform pellets (3–5mm)‌ by rotating blades.
