Let's Build a High Altitude Balloon! | HAB Ep 1

Help us build a high altitude balloon! We are constructing a set of payload packages that will reach about 100,000 feet in altitude. We will have a tracking system, camera, and science instruments. What sensors and instruments should we use?

We have never done this before, and we will be learning along with you. As the series progresses, we will take you through the process of picking a balloon, determining the flight profile, building a fill station, construction and testing of the payload, and the launch.

These types of balloon are sometimes also known as weather balloons, near-space balloons, or sounding balloons.
