Voor buitenlandse kijkers die weinig weten over Scheveningen kan worden samengevat dat Scheveningen een prachtige badplaats is aan het Noordzee strand, grenzend aan Den Haag.
Het was toen één van de prachtigste badplaatsen, zo niet de mooiste badplaats aan de in totaal circa 250 km zandstranden die Nederland rijk is.

For foreign viewers who know little about Scheveningen, it can be summarized as a beautiful seaside resort on the North Sea beach, bordering The Hague.

At the time, it was one of the most beautiful seaside resorts, if not the most beautiful, on the approximately 250 km of sandy beaches in the Netherlands.
