After thinking about it for a long time, I finally decided to play through Metroid Prime. Not only do I think of it as one of the GameCube's finest, it's also one of my favorite games of all time.

Some info, mostly what I will and won't be doing.

I will be playing this on hard mode.

I will try to obtain every expansion. I won't guarantee it.

I won't scan everything. I will stick to scanning required things (red squares that is) and bosses, since it usually reveals their weak point. In lieu in scanning monsters and lore, I will provide links to the Metroid Wiki to pages for enemies and lore when we encounter them for the first time. You'll see how this will work in a bit. I will also point out the scans you have one or few chances at getting. Let me know if I forgot to point anything out.

I will not use the Fusion Suit. You'll hardly see it anyway and I'd have to activate it every time I turn the game on. It would be annoying.

I will try to show off as much stuff as possible.

The opening to Metroid Prime. A tutorial level basically. I remember actually having a hard time with it my very first time playing...this place is also one of the many Space Pirate research facilities we'll see over the course of the series. What were they researching and experimenting with?

As for the game itself, it was the fourth GCN game I got. I bought it the day after I got my GameCube. And I love it. It's probably my favorite in the series, and the game just oozes quality. I'll give more thoughts on the game over the course of the playthrough.
