From the heart of Hawaiki TŪ, an evolved movement arises. 🌿🔥

Haka Movemeant is a powerful new digital series created by yours truly, sharing the evolution, energy, and living spirit of haka woven through movement. Over the coming months, I'll be sharing new expressions and pieces, offering you the opportunity to learn, connect, and eventually join an in-person masterclass experience. This is just the beginning!

For over two decades, Ive had the privilege to carry and shape this unique style of movement, inspiring transformation, connection, and authentic Māori expression through performance and teaching.

Now, for the first time, I’m bringing this movement into the digital world, making it accessible for people everywhere to experience, connect with, and embody.

The purpose of Haka Movemeant is simple: Empower, Transform, Inspire. An invitation to move with meaning, and to pursue what lights you up!

This first piece is inspired by Hine-nui-te-pō, the guardian of transformation, who holds sacred space for release, surrender, and rebirth.

It honours the art of release: the journey from darkness into light, from unseen potential into living reality.

Drawing inspiration from poi, a treasured taonga Māori and art form woven into kapa haka and Māori performing arts, the movement explores how rhythm, sound, and spirit evolve into physical expression of ‘Haka Movemeant’.
