The Drum Majors Mace O'er the (Glenfiddich) Banner competition during the 2019 Braemar Gathering Highland Games in Deeside, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. This involves marching to the banner and throwing a Mace over the banner AND catching it again. The band playing for the competition was Ellon & District Pipe Band, led by Drum Major David Rae.

The competitors were Drum Major David Rae, Ronnie Rennie from Kintore Pipe Band, Derek Dean from Huntly & District Pipe Band and Roland Stuart who was leading the massed band displays. After an initial draw between Roland and Derek, Ronnie and David were eliminated and Derek then won the competition after a separate round between him and Roland. All were presented with a bottle of Whisky by the sponsors, Glenfiddich.
