Behind the Scenes - Vertical Cinema - 2020 Apple iPhone Films

Throwback to 2020, when Apple funded and helped produce several GFS Fellows’ short films as part of an incredible experiment into vertical cinema.

Still today, Ghetto Film School is thrilled to count Apple among supporters of its mission to educate, develop, and celebrate the next generation of great storytellers. Apple’s support is a continuation of its REJI (Racial Equality and Justice Initiative) grants over the past two years, which have helped organizations provide economic, educational, and creative opportunities to various communities.

Our sister communities supported by Apple include New South Wales (Sydney), Music Forward (Los Angeles), Shout Mouse Press (Washington, D.C.), and The National Museum of African American Music (Nashville, Tennessee).
