Stihl Leaf Blower Won’t Turn Off

Stihl leaf blower was brought to me because the band was broke for the handle and the blower would not turn off unless you choked the carburetor and throttled it, then it would not turn off.

Most lawn equipment that goes for leaf blower’s, chainsaw’s, weed eater’s, and so on have micro switches that fail most of the time from getting wet or just getting old, this leaf blower had a full size plate switch which is basically an original micro switch but are more reliable because it takes more to break them. So we traced the lines sense we had good connections in the handle we found that the eyelet for one of the wires broke, so we put a new eyelet on the wires screwed it back on and that took care of the problem.
