Mentor Police Swearing In Ceremony - August 9, 2024

The Mentor Police Department swore in ten new probationary officers today at a brief ceremony at the Mentor Civic Amphitheater.

Megan Carney, Gavin McLean, Braeden Gefert, Joshua Kernc, Brent Adzema, Bridget Mullholand, Jacob Schmitt, Samuel Bellissimo, Logan Schaefer, and Quinton Bailey were sworn in by Mentor Municipal Judge John Trebets.

In attendance were family, friends, as well as members of Mentor city council, administration, and safety forces.

The city of Mentor is proud of being able to attract these new officers in light of the challenges that law enforcement agencies across the nation face trying to fill positions in their respective communities.
