3d Printed Bullet Feeder (Nose Down Collator)

Описание к видео 3d Printed Bullet Feeder (Nose Down Collator)

I used my 3d Printer to make a Bullet Feeder to size my cast bullets. Check out AmmoMike83 on Thingiverse for the design.

My printer is a modified Anet A8 (AM8 Mod) running Ramps 1.6 and Marlin Firmware. OctoPrint with the plug-in OctoLapse was used to create the time lapse videos of the printing.

This bullet collator is a dedicated nose down bullet feeder that feeds my Star Lubrisizer. I cast my own bullets and coat them with Hi-Tek coating. Before they can be loaded, they need to be sized. This collator speeds up the process dramatically.

Of course a more typical version of this collator feeds the bullets base down for progressive reloading machines. The design on Thingiverse gives you that option or the option to feed the bullets nose down.

I have a couple of Mr. Bullet Feeder collators that I use when reloading but I've been waiting for years for them to come out with the nose down conversion. After four years, I gave up waiting and made my own.

I designed my own transport parts using OpenScad but other than that, everything is available on Thingiverse.

Thanks to all the guys on the Cast Boolits forum and of course AmmoMike83 for his design work.
