Oberbauenstock

The video starts roughly around 1885m asl point where the traverse over scree field begins. SAC/Hikr difficulty is between T4 and T4+, all on the wbw trail. It is definitely more demanding than neighboring Niderbauen Chulm. After the scree traverse there is a short section of easy scrambling secured with the fixed ropes and we end up on the ridge at the point named Schwiren. From there a bit on the ridge, but mostly below the ridge the trail reaches Oberbauenstock summit with its unique stone cross. One tip, the first part (until the ridge) of the trail is fully in the shade in the morning which makes it perfect during hot summer days.
