Kapunda | Australia’s Haunted Mining Town

In this episode, we travel to Kapunda, a historic South Australian town best known as the site of Australia’s first commercial copper mine. Established in the mid-1800s, Kapunda was once a thriving mining settlement shaped by hardship, loss, and rapid growth — a past many believe still lingers today.

Our investigation took place at St. John’s Cemetery, one of the town’s most discussed and unsettling locations. Dating back to the 19th century, the cemetery has long been associated with reports of shadow figures, unexplained sounds, and an oppressive atmosphere experienced by visitors over many years.

While in Kapunda, we also visited the North Kapunda Hotel, often referred to as one of Australia’s most haunted pubs. Although we did not conduct an investigation there, we met locals, shared stories, and had an incredible time experiencing the town and its community.

During this visit, something was captured on camera that we cannot explain, and a disturbing symbol was discovered in a place it should not have been. Nothing in this video is staged or recreated. What you see is exactly what happened.
