In Gilded Destiny, Cultures and Religions will each have an effect on the Qualities that each Population Group possesses. During the 19th Century, Culture and Religion shaped governments, campaigns, warfare, and society which have left a legacy on the world of today. The Culture and Religion systems in Gilded Destiny seek to represent the realities of the 19th century in an interesting and playable way. In essence, they will have an effect on the Qualities that each Population Group possesses.

The game's central goal is to transform your chosen country from an agrarian society into an industrial one—where you'll lead your population from subsistence to wealth by controlling key economic, diplomatic, and military factors to achieve your goal.
